After Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun will likely collaborate with a filmmaker from the Malayalam industry. Reportedly, director Vipin Das, who is known for making ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey’ has approached the actor for a movie.

But will it really be a good decision for Arjun? He is actually in the very peak of his career right now and there are many possibilities for him. He is a pan-Indian star in the truest sense today.

‘Pushpa 2’ is doing better business in the Hindi belt than even the Telugu speaking areas. And Allu Arjun is becoming a bigger hero-figure in the north than in the South. He will have to make careful script choices in the future so that he continues to cater to the newfound audience.

We have seen actors falter after delivering pan-Indian superhits. Prabhaas could not do much with Saaho after Baahubali. Yash is coming with Toxic, which does not have much hype among audiences.

Collaborating with filmmakers like Vipin Das may decorate Allu Arjun’s filmography with some unique stories, but it is a matter of concern whether it will be a mass superhit or not.

Malayalam movies have a very niche audience and the directors too have a way of storytelling and execution that might not go very well with the mass image that Allu Arjun has earned now.
