Amaravati JAC Fires On Anchor Pradeep

Amaravati JAC has fired on Anchor Pradeep Machiraju for a TV Program (Zee Telugu Super Serial Mega Championship) in which he says Vishakapatnam is the Capital of Andhra Pradesh. Amaravati JAC Chairman, Srinivasa Rao released a video and alleged that it is an insult to the agitation of the farmers and Pradeep should take back his comments by 21st June 12 PM (already finished).

“Your Cinema people will not participate in or talk about Amaravati movement. But please do not play without sentiments. Amaravati is not a region, it is the heartbeat of the state. It is the sacrifice of the farmers. Accept your mistake or get ready to face consequences,” Srinivasa Rao said in a video.

It has to be seen if the popular anchor will respond to this threat. The farmers of Amaravati were expecting Cinema and TV celebrities to support their cause which will obviously give the much-needed focus and publicity to their cause. But with the state government being on the other side, the celebs are hesitating to take unnecessary risk.

But the farmers are being hurt when they do not try to be neutral on the issue.
