Amazon Prime Video Offers Extra Add-On OTT Video Channels In India

Leading OTT giant, Amazon Prime Video has partnered with eight other OTT Platforms and the services of these platforms will be available on Amazon as add-on services. Amazon has been working on this service for close to two years and finally finished the exercise.

The eight OTT Platforms that are going to be available on Amazon Prime Video are Mubi, Lionsgate Play, HoiChoi, Eros Now, Discovery+, Manorama Max, and Shorts TV. These services can be used as an add-on to the existing Amazon Prime Video subscription paying extra.

The OTT Platform is currently running an introductory offer on all these services. This facility will offer better reach to these smaller OTT Platforms. Prime Video is in talks to add many more channels on the platform. Globally, it has more than 350 OTT partners, offering a similar service.

Amazon Prime Video is one of the most value for money OTT Platform in India for the volume of content it gives. It also gives extra benefits to the e-commerce customers. This is the first time it is launching an add-on service at a premium. It has to be seen how the customers receive it.
