Amazon signs mammoth investment in TS

Online Retailer Giant, Amazon is all set to setup a new fulfillment center near Hyderabad. This new Fulfillment Center, 11th of Amazon in the country will be in Kotturu, near Hyderabad and will be spread over 280,000 square feet and will begin its operations from May this year.

A team of Amazon officials met Telangana’s IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday and signed an MOU with the state government. Even though the quantum of investment is not revealed, it is said to be the largest investment in infrastructure in any state in India by Amazon.

After the opening of this new Fulfillment Center, the total 11 Fulfillment Centers of Amazon put together will cover a total of over one million square feet space with a storage capacity of over 2.5 million cubic feet.
