Deverakonda’s Next Direct To OTT

The younger Deverakonda, Anand is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Highway, which is directed by KV Guhan of 118 fame.

The makers of Highway have now announced that the film is skipping theatrical release and arriving directly on OTT.

Highway will skip theatrical release and premiere directly on Aha Video. The same was confirmed by Aha Video a little while ago.

Highway is billed to be a suspense thriller, much like Guhan’s first film, 118 which had Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the lead role.

Aha Video has acquired the direct to digital rights of the Anand Deverakonda starrer and the official OTT release date will be announced soon.

Incidentally, this is second one of Anand Deverakonda’s films to head the direct to OTT way. He previously released Middle Class Melodies directly on Amazon Prime Video.

Not many Telugu films have been going the direct to OTT way of late. We should wait and see if Highway can turn out to be a successful outing as it arrives on Aha Video soon.
