Anchor’s abusive spoof on dance reality show

Many times we find people commenting on the deteriorating standards of language and how abusive language became common in films and television shows. Some abusive words which are termed as cuss words are making entry invariably. Sad state of affairs!

In the Saturday episode of ‘Konchem Touch lo Vunte Chepta’ aired on Zee Telugu on 15th November, host Pradeep enacted a parody (spoof) episode of a dance reality show ‘Aata’ hosted by Omkar. Omkar’s show has been targetted many times on television shows and in films for the artificiality and too much overboard melodrama.

In a pun way, Pradeep named the spoof show ‘Theeta’, a Telugu word which is very abusive. Though there are a lot of criticisms on ‘Aata’ show anyway, this kind of abusive language making way into one of the most popular show is really not welcome. The guest for this episode, Tamanna didn’t have any clue of the colloquial word and hence was seen just enjoying the spoof.
