Tripti Dimri is one of the most talked-about actresses in Indian cinema, thanks to Animal. She had around 600K followers on Instagram before the film’s release and now, she has 3.5M followers which speaks for itself.
And now, the actress has opened up about how her parents reacted to the intimate scenes in Animal.
“My parents were hurt after seeing the intimate scenes. They weren’t expecting me to do something like that. They said they hadn’t seen scenes like these in any film before. They opined I shouldn’t have done such scenes and said they are hurt while seeing me on screen in such scenes.” Tripti said in her recent interview.
The actress went on to add that she pacified her parents by saying scenes like these are a part of her profession and she didn’t do anything wrong. She added that her parents haven’t yet come to terms with the cultural shock they got from her role and certain scenes in the film.
