Another Pan-India Telugu Attempt Bites the Dust

Hero Nikhil Siddhartha has been on a roll ever since the success of Karthikeya 2, which turned out to be a true pan-India blockbuster and opened up new and bigger market opportunities for him.

In an attempt to attract audiences from the north, the Subhas Chandra Bose death mystery was used as a bait.

However, in reality, ‘Spy’ has very little and confused connection to this storyline. Such attempts can be seen as desperate and raise questions about his future pan-India projects as well.

Instead of carefully navigating the pan-India path, Nikhil took a rushed approach with a dull film like ‘Spy,’ which failed to entertain even local audiences.

In the end, ‘Spy’ joins the list of name-sake pan-India movies like Das Ka Dhamki, Shaakuntalam, Agent, etc.
