The family members of real-life Rowdy Thangam have filed a complaint on the makers of KGF 2 as the family members opine that the makers of the movie are portraying Thangam in a negative light. So, the Judicial Magistrate of the first class has issued a notice.
The notice was against the producer, director Prashanth Neel and KFCC (Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce). Thangam family is unhappy as they think that the filmmaker is going to show his character more negatively in the second chapter.
Rowdy Thangam is a real-life character who was notorious for his unlawful activities in the 80s and the 90s in the Kolar Gold Field who was killed in an encounter in 1997. He happened to be one of the most wanted criminals during his time.
Thangam family members created even during the making and before the release of KGF Chapter One, as well. Let’s see how things will pan out for the second chapter as the makers received court notices from Rowdy Thangam’s family members.
