After his sensational revelation of affecting with cancer, Akkineni Nageswara Rao on Saturday afternoon complained of stomach pain and difficulty in consuming food. He was immediately taken to KIMS hospital, Hyderabad. There was a small bowel obstruction in his small intestine and minor surgery was performed on him around 11 PM, Saturday. The actor is currently in ICU and doctors say his condition is stable.
The actor is suffering from cancer to his intestine. In a special press meet on Saturday morning, he urged media not to speculate or spread rumours about his health. He also requested his fans and well wishers to let him and his family members stay in calm avoiding sympathy visits or inquiries.
