Who Is The Problem – Nani Or Audience?

Natural Star Nani was delivering superhits with commercial movies like MCA and Nenu Local. He became a minimum guarantee hero at the box office. But there was criticism about why is he doing routine movies like MCA which had nothing new to offer.

Taking that feedback seriously, Nani started making sensible movies like Shyam Singha Roy and Ante Sundaraniki, but the box office result of these two films left a lot to be desired.

Shyam Singha Roy, despite a positive talk, remained an above-average film in terms of the box office. Ante Sundaraniki also got a decent talk for its comedy and emotions, but the box office result has turned out to be unflattering.

It’s unfortunate that when Nani was doing template films, the audience turned up in huge numbers and turned them into hits and superhits. But when Nani started doing sensible movies, the same audience which criticized him during MCA days turned a blind eye.

We have to wait and see how Nani will make a strong comeback by striking the perfect balance between sensible and mass cinema.
