When the cricket fans blamed Anushka for Virat’s poor performance in England tour, Anushka clearly stated that they have nothing to do with each other’s professional performances. The affair might seem very juicy and a constant muse of the gossipmongers, but for Anushka taking the blame on her every time is something like psychological torture.
She says she doesn’t want to take blame for somebody’s performance or even appreciation for the same. It rightfully belongs to the person who had opted and excelled in the career he had chosen and no one else can take it away from him. What pricked Anushka the most is being called a ‘distraction’ and when cricket board decided not to allow wives and girlfriends to travel alongwith players on tour.
She finds the word ‘distraction’ extremely distasteful and uncoming from a civilized world. She pleads to give the players credit for what they have achieved and not to put the fame or blame in someone else’ account. Intensive and thoughful, isn’t she?
