It is known that Andhra Pradesh government has decided to prepare a makeshift capital in Gannavaram. Medha Towers which is just opposite Gannavaram Airport will host the various departments that are being shifted out of Hyderabad. It is said that 10000 sq ft of the Medha Towers will be allocated to Chandra Babu’s office and another 10000 sq ft will be allotted to accommodate senior officials of the CMO.
Gannavaram Airport is very near to Medha Towers as the commuting of CM to various places including the common capital, Hyderabad will be easy, CMO was chosen to be setup there. Already two AP ministers, Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma and Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas shifted their office to Vijayawada.
On the other side, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister has clarified that he will not go away from Hyderabad leaving people in distress. “People who are paying taxes and contributing to the development of Hyderabad are being troubled for no reason. I have made this city grow and will not leave people here and go away”, Naidu said.
