AP to start Japanese Language Institute this year!

Andhra Pradesh government in its efforts to woo the Japanese investors to the state is planning a a crash course in Japanese language to its officers as well as skilled workers. The government says that this will make sure that the Japanese investors are extended youkoso (Welcome) in their own language.

The state sees a long term partnership with Japanese and so the state government is very soon planning to offer courses in that language as well. It is said that Nagarjuna University will have a Japanese Language Institute to teach the language to students and youth of the state and enhance their employability in the Japanese-managed companies. This institute will be run by Japanese nationals.

The institute will be functioning from this academic year. The crash course of six-month duration will be imparted to officers and skilled workers so that they are in a position to interact with the Japanese investors by the end of this year. Full-fledged courses in the language will also be soon offered at the institute
