AP’s ace mountaineer goes missing!

One of India’s Top Mountaineers from Andhra Pradesh, Malli Mastan Babu had gone missing after he went on a solo expedition from the Andes Mountains between Argentina and Chile. The 40 year old hailing from Nellore had 10-12 years of mountaineering experience.

He started his expedition on March 24th to climb the mountain range along the Argentina-Chile border from the base camp of Cerro Tres Cruces. However he did not return the base camp and even could not be contacted. The GPS device which was along with him is also not traceable.

His family members back in Nellore are very much worried. They reportedly got in touch with the governments of Argentina and Chile and requested for an aerial search operation to find his whereabouts.
