Are You There? Suriya’s Crucial Move

Suriya and his brother knows how to rise to the occasion and set an example for others. When Tamil Film Producers Council has been on strike to address various issues in Kollywood, Suriya and his brother Karthi came out with a noble gesture.

To help the producers cut the cost of production, the duo had decided to pay the remuneration of their personal staff and assistants instead of burdening the producers. Nadigar Sangham secretary and the president of Producers’ Council Vishal also decided the same and the trio has set a good example for other star heroes in Kollywood.

Many of the star actors have their personal staff as assistants, for their makeup, designing clothes etc. Some heroes have an entourage of staff who are paid by the producers. This move by Suriya, Karthi and Vishal trio will definitely put pressure on the other star heroes to come up with the same gesture. If not, this would decrease their credibility as the on-screen heroes talk big and play larger than life roles.
