‘Arjun Reddy‘ was a character-driven and plot-driven story. For the kind of teaser, the director released, if he had chosen something lyrical for the title, it would not have sunk, at all. A normal title wouldn’t have fit the kind of story he wanted to tell. Yes, the justification makes sense.

The director, Sandeep Reddy was in 50-50 partnership and he was quite confident that they aren’t going to lose money. But, his brother who invested the money along with his father were prepared for at least Rs. 50 lakhs to one crore loss. Now, they are reaping unbelievable profits.

Of course, the buyers are making more profits as the film is made on small scale and they bought for less price, as well. ‘Arjun Reddy’ is now in wonderful space when it comes to its reception. The director has a few stories ready. After this massive success like ‘Arjun Reddy’, he has to choose his next subjects carefully.
