Arrest Warrant Issued for Dhanush father

Popular star Dhanush’s father Kasturi Raja once again got entangled in financial issues. Earlier it was with Telugu producer Nattikumar for the film ‘3’ and now it is a cheque bounce case. In this regard Dhanush’s father was issued an arrest warrant by a Magistrate Court. A local Financier of Sahukarapeta, by name Mukul Chand filed a case for the cheque bounce.

Reportedly Kasturi Raja took Rs.65 lakhs from the financier in 2012 and gave two cheques for him. Since both the cheques have bounced, the financier had to approach court for legal action as police didn’t file a complaint inspite of him approaching the City Police Commissioner. Hence Mukul Chand filed a petition in George Town Magistrate Court.

When the petition came to hearing, no one from Kasturi Raja’s side was present. Hence instead of a possible bail, an arrest warrant was issued on the popular star’s father. As said above, this is not the first time Dhanush’s father got into financial issues leading to legal hassles.
