Nivetha Pethuraj's Aadarsha Kutumbham Comment
One casual comment from Nivetha Pethuraj at the Aadarsha Kutumbam pre-release event suddenly became a talking point. She said she did not know the complete story and would be watching the film on the first day along with the audience.
That was enough for some to question how an actress could be part of a film without knowing its story. But the reaction seems to have missed the actual point of what Nivetha said.
She was talking about the film as a whole, not her own character. Actors are not necessarily handed every page of a screenplay. In a film with several characters and parallel tracks, they can be given their portions and work based on what is required for their characters.
So, Nivetha’s comment hardly suggests that she had no idea what she was doing in Aadarsha Kutumbam. She knows her part. What she may not know is how every character’s story connects until she watches the finished film.
There is also something refreshing about an actor admitting that she is curious to watch her own film with the audience. Instead of turning that into a controversy, it could simply be taken as a candid moment from a pre-release event.
With Venkatesh leading the film and Srinidhi Shetty, Raja Prajwal, Yuvina Parthavi, Satya, Rao Ramesh and others playing key roles, Aadarsha Kutumbam has a fairly large ensemble. Perhaps that is exactly why Nivetha’s comment should not be taken out of context.
