
Actor Arya, who is awaiting the release of romantic-thriller “Varna”, has picked up its distributions in Malaysia and Singapore. He says he is trying to explore untapped markets in this new role.
Arya said that since there are so many untapped international markets and this is his attempt to explore some of these areas. Malaysia and Singapore constitute such markets and added that he also came to know that his recent release “Raja Rani” did well there. Therefore, he picked up the distribution rights of Varna in these areas
He also said that the film deserves an international audience. He believes this is his bit to take it to people outside our country to watch and enjoy,” he added.
Arya is basking in the success of back-to-back hits “Raja Rani” and “Arrambam”. Both the films have turned out to be blockbusters. Varna, which is slated to release Nov 22, also features Anushka Shetty. The film will be dubbed in Telugu, Hindi and foreign languages such as Georgian, Russian and Turkish.
