Producer on Jr. NTR’s 25 Crore Disaster

In 2011, big producer Ashwini Dutt tasted a big flop and had to bear with heavy losses because of Jr. NTR‘s ‘Shakti’. Talking about the film, Ashwini Dutt opines that it was his ill date that was the reason for the flop.

It was a wrong subject, wrong director and everything else added to the disaster which became one of the top disasters in NTR’s career. Can you guess the amount the producer lost on ‘Shakti’? Ashwini Dutt literally lost Rs. 25 crores.

Losing Rs. 25 crores for one movie is indeed a big loss accepts the producer. It was his unlucky time which ended by 2016 and he is hopeful that his luck will revive from 2017 onwards.The producer might believe his stars and astrology, but one has to agree that a bad story with a wrong director can save no film. What say?
