Azhar still in search of Sangeeta

To those who are still unaware a biopic is planned on the life of tainted cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin in Bollywood. Ekta Kapoor is producing this biopic on her Balaji Motion Pictures whereas Emran Hasmi plays the titular role.

The makers are currently in pre production stage finalizing the casting before the film takes off in May. Azhar’s life has been very colourful with Sangeeta Bijlani being the centre of attraction. It is this character that is drawing lot of attention apart from the lead character and hence various names have been doing the rounds. Finally it looked like Kareena Kapoor was finalized but now she has apparently refused the film.

Officials from the production house too have confirmed this version and say that she is no longer part of the film and the makers are looking at a younger actress for the role. Whoever it may be she is sure to get lot of attention. Who will that lucky actress be?
