Top Bollywood production house Yash Raj films has long ago planned to expand its wings to various film industries both locally and internationally. While they decided to enter South with the remake of Band Baaja Baarat starring Nani, they made their International production debut with Grace of Monaco starring Nicole Kidman.
The film Grace of Monaco finally premiered yesterday after a delay. It was not just any premiere it was the opening film of the prestigious Cannes film festival. Unfortunately for the production house the fate of their International debut was similar to their regional debut. The film has been panned by the critics with many terming it a joke and calling it as the worse film ever to open Cannes. The film after this premieres will release globally in June.
