BB2 Effect: Average Movie Takes Inspiration

Tami movie ‘Kadambam’ starring Arya and Catherina Tresa in the leading is going to hit theatres, once again. The film was released last month on 14th of April and the makers are getting ready to release the Hindi dubbed version of the movie.

This dubbed movie is going to come on 16th of June when other Bollywood big movies and movies of popular actors are competing with each other. Seems, the makers are inspired by the humongous success of a regional film like ‘Baahubali 2‘ and want to reach out to wider audiences.

What leaves one wondering is that the fact that ‘Kadambam’ has no known faces for the Hindi audiences and moreover, the film didn’t become a blockbuster even in Tamil. That implies it didn’t even appeal to the regional audiences for whom it was made. There is no reason to even dream big for this dubbing version.
