The most awaited and keenly looked release of Baahubali 2 has happened in China. It has been given a big release and the opening day number is going to be a decent one. Will it have a record-breaking run to become the highest grossing Indian film worldwide?

Unfortunately, the answer to the question would be a no. The reason for that is a mistake that is repeated by the team Baahubali 2 that they have done in the past with Baahubali 1. It is the release timing. It is terrible.

When Baahubali 1 was released, there were huge Chinese films that were lined up to release the following weeks. It meant Baahubali did not get enough screens and chance to build an audience and have a run. The same has happened with Baahubali 2. The next week Avengers is going to take the Chinese box office by a storm. Baahubali 2 is going to lose screens, and since other local biggies will follow it, the long run seems ruled out at the moment.

The current estimation for the lifetime of Baahubali 2 in China is low and out of top 5 highest grossing Bollywood movies. It means the chance of Baahubali 2 overcoming Dangal (in worldwide gross) is very less.
