Baahubali 3 or RRR 2: The Bigger Sequel?

SS Rajamouli is promoting RRR on an international level these days as a part of the Oscar Awards lobbying procedure for the film. Recently during one of the interviews, he was asked if he has any plans for RRR 2.

Rajamouli replied that he definitely has some exciting ideas for RRR2. A few months back, he had said the same thing about Baahubali 3.

So it has sparked a debate on social media about which sequel will have a bigger impact if it gets made.

Baahubali is the ultimate SS Rajamouli movie and though RRR became a huge success, it couldn’t recreate the magical experience of Baahubali.

If we take the sequels into account, Baahubali 3 will definitely turn out to be one helluva project, but RRR2 might make a bigger impact.

The reason is the fact that after its premiere on Netflix, RRR received tremendous appreciation from all over the world. It streamed as the No. 1 film for many weeks on the OTT platform in many countries and the kind of response it gained from the International audience is unimaginable for an Indian film.

So RRR 2 will definitely turn out to be a bigger sequel than Baahubali 3 just because of the wider reach and appreciation it got worldwide.
