Baahubali bound to have similarities –Rajamouli

With repeated criticism about copying and other such stuff in his films, more so on Baahubali, the director today decided to make things clear for one final time.

SS Rajamouli admitted that there would be similarities with Hollywood epic films like Ben-Hur, 300, Troy, Gladiator etc because they all belong to same genre. There are only limited set of such films thus films made within that genre are bound to have resemblances whether done intentionally or not, was the explanation given by him.

Baahubali has been marred with this ‘copying’ controversy right from the beginning, remember the first making video or the first poster with ‘baby’ in it? And the fans have defending it as rigorously. These words coming from director himself would surely help the fans cause even stronger now.
