Baahubali lures Big banner to TFI, post flop debut

Bollywood’s one of the biggest banner ‘Yash Raj Films’ did try making a Telugu movie ‘Aaha Kalyanam’, which was the remake of super hit Hindi movie ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’. But the movie tanked at the box-office big way and many thought that the big banner’s debut flop would deter it from venturing into South movies again.

However, one flop isn’t going to stop the prestigious banner from investing on South movies. In spite of the bitter experience, Yash Raj Films is waiting for a good subject to do a straight movie in South. Meanwhile it’s interested in dubbing super hit Bollywood movies into Southern languages.

Who gave the banner that immense trust on South movies? It’s again ‘Baahubali’. The epic drama literally showed the market range of South movies and when content is good, no matter what people watch the movie in theaters. Yash Raj Films is certainly making plans to expand its market in South Film Industries.
