Baba Rajamouli: Twitter Yogi in the making

There is no dearth for godmen in India. Every alternate day, a new Baba emerges from some corner of the country and surprisingly for every new Baba, new set of followers readily come to their disposal. You may be wondering why creative director Rajamouli’s name is used with the prefix ‘Baba. In film industry, superstitions form very easily and at present Rajamouli has become the base for a freshly formed superstition in Tollywood.

Coming to the point, Via twitter Rajamouli wished all the best for the small film ‘ ‘Oohalu Gusa Gusalaade’ and the film did well garnering positive buzz. Of late, Rajamouli tweeted positively on ‘Dikkulu Chudaku Ramayya’ (DCR). Out of the all the small films released this Friday, DCR is doing well, good word of mouth publicity and hence this film can be called as the winner amongst this Friday’s releases.

Earlier to these two movies, Rajamouli tweeted positively on Sampurnesh Babu’s ‘Hrudaya Kaaleyam’. The whole thing is now seen in different light. Some of the websites started campaigning that Rajamouli’s tweets are lucky for small films and film makers are hoping for Rajamouli’s twitter blessings. In the industry where superstitions take no time to get deeply rooted, a ‘Twitter Yogi’ seems to be in the making. OMG!
