Balayya’s Profits Killed by Mega Hero

After watching the fate of ‘Inttelligent’ at the box-office, it’s not a big thing to guess that it might have incurred heavy losses to the producer, C Kalyan. The producer’s two recent releases, i.e., ‘Jai Simha’ and ‘Inttelligent‘ had poor content.

However, Balakrishna’s ‘Jai Simha‘ which was seen as a weak film against epic disaster ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ earned profits despite the poor content and proved the box-office stamina of the Nandamuri hero. Balayya’s movie in fact saved the producer and the same producer tanked with a mega hero film.

According to a report in the Deccan Chronicle, VV Vinayak’s directorial incurred Rs. 15 crore losses to the producer and negotiations are going on between the producer and the director with regard to compensating for the losses.
