What Is Balakrishna’s Response to Nandi Controversy?

While Nagarjuna is maintaining complete silence on the announcement of Nandi Awards and the present controversy, a few persons from the film industry are making big noises on not conferring awards to mega heroes’ films. Open debates, allegations and casteist remarks have become the order of the day.

Needles to say, it is ‘Legend’ which is the centre of the controversy for the Best Actor Award conferred on Balayya. Several film personalities like Bandla Ganesh quoted differences between Balayya and Nagarjuna the reason behind ‘Manam’ being denied any award. Race Gurram producer portrayed the entire scenario into the nutshell of casteism.

When so much fuss is happening and Balayya’s name in the awardees’ list is the centre of the controversy, what is his take on this controversy? Going by his nature, we can easily guess that he cares a damn about this issue and hence, busy with Assembly sessions in Amravati and Polavaram visit. It’s highly doubtful that a star hero like Balakrishna who cares little even on the hit or failure status of his own films will respond on this controversy or this will have any impact on him.
