Balayya tenders apology for his ‘woman’ comment

Hindupur MLA, Nandamuri Balakrishna tried to put a full stop for the controversy that raked after his comments on women at an audio function. After YSR Congress raised the issue in media, Balayya tendered an apology and an explanation for the comments he made on that day. Here is what Balayya said.

“We are a family who treat every woman as our own family girl. We inherited seeing a sister in every woman from our father. I only made a funny comment at the audio function that day. It is not intended on any one. If some one are annoyed with the comment, I apologize to them,” Balayya said.

Balayya may have learnt how careful he has to be when in politics with this incident. As a man who always try to speak plain, Balayya may not have intended what he told, but thats how politics work. On the other side, YSR Congress is planning to rake the issue in Assembly tomorrow.
