Balayya Can Take That Risk With Vivek?

Nandamuri Balakrishna is celebrating his birthday today and Mythri Movie Makers who are working on a film with him have dropped a cryptic update. They shared a picture of Balayya with Vivek Athreya on the occasion.

This pretty much confirms that this collaboration is going to happen in the near future, and this could get fans briefly excited as well.

It is a fact that a collaboration with a young director without much commercial appeal might sound a bit risky for a true blue mass hero like Balayya but there are couple of factors here.

Over the last few years, the public perception of Balayya has also changed it drastically as increased sections of the audience are watching his films. This opens this page for new kind of film making.

On the other hand, Vivek himself has shown his commercial abilities with Saripoda Sanivaaram. Collaboration with Balayya will give him a bigger canvas and opportunity to present his mass skills.

Vivek is a director who can blend class film making with mass elements and this is a risk that Balayya most certainly take at this point. But we have to see if this project would actually materialise and go on the floors in the near future.

A whacky action film that blends good quality mass highs and Vivek’s sensible can offer a different experience to hardcore Balayya fans as well at this point.
