Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Akhanda, directed by Boyapati Srinu. He is also looking at other scripts at the same time and has locked director Gopichand Malineni for his next. Gopichand recently delivered a super successful film in the form of Ravi Teja’s Krack and is doing extensive research for his film with Balakrishna.

It was recently said that Balakrishna would team up with director Anil Ravipudi after that and that the director was able to impress Balakrishna with the script in a single sitting, with all the details of the script. It is now being said that the official announcement of this combination would be made on Balakrishna’s birthday. Anil Ravipudi managed to establish himself as a substantial director within a very short period of time. F2 became his first film to cross 80 Crores, while he managed to enter the 100 Crore club with Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru.

Anil Ravipudi’s script is said to be a very powerful one, and his trademark comedy can also be expected from the film. Balakrishna is expected to join the sets of this film while his film with Gopichand Malineni is halfway through.

On the other hand, Balakrishna’s look from Akhanda has received tremendous response from audiences. Akhanda is scheduled to release on May 28th, but considering the current situation, it is highly likely that the film’s release will be postponed.
