Balakrishna’s Heroine Lost a Massive Opportunity

Bollywood has always been a dream for many actors. And getting to share the screen with Salman Khan is the cherry on the cake. Such was the case for leggy lass Pragya Jaiswal. The actress made her Bollywood debut back in 2014 and since then she has immersed herself in the South.

The actress however got the biggest opportunity which one wouldn’t deny even in their wildest dreams. The actress got the offer to be part of the Bollywood flick – Antim where she was paired next to Salman Khan.

Although Salman Khan himself has a limited screen presence, the makers incorporated the heroine’s role. Pragya even shot her part and couldn’t have asked for a better Bollywood flick to make a comeback. However, her dreams have got shattered.

It so happens that director Mahesh Manjrekar have decided to chop off her scenes. The team didn’t do it purposefully but after much pondering took the call. The decision was also told to Salman Khan who also agreed. The reason behind them doing away with Pragya Jaiswal’s portions was that they wanted to stay true to the script.

Salman Khan appears as a cop in Antim which is away from the regular ones he did. Since it is a complete action flick, Salman Khan’s role doesn’t give any space to the heroine’s part and including her part just to give it a commercial vibe will spoil the mood, feel makers. While the decision was taken in the film’s betterment, it is certainly a massive opportunity lost by Pragya Jaiswal.

The actress currently awaits Balakrishna’s film Akhanda. The film is slated for release on December 2.
