Kannada activists have announced a bandh on April 28, the anticipated date for the release of Baahubali conclusion, in the case Sathyaraj fails to pay a public apology for hurting Kannadigas’ feelings with reference to the Cauvery water issue.

The president of Karnataka Rakshna Vedike said that Sathyaraj’s comments have hurt the self-respect of Karnataka people and hence wouldn’t allow the movie to be released anywhere in Karnataka unless he apologizes for what he said.
