Most powerful man is now on FB!

In this age of digital media and social networking, social media accounts have almost become a necessity. Case in point is American President Barack Obama, who although a little late to the party, has finally joined the club of millions of Facebook users.

Obama is just about to finish his second and last term as the US President and it is now wonder that being with matters of the state, he had no time to waste on social media. But finally, he now has his own Facebook page and unsurprisingly, the President Obama Facebook acquired thousands of likes within minutes of going live. His first post read, “Hello, Facebook! I finally got my very own page. I hope you’ll think of this as a place where we can have real conversations about the most important issues facing our country…”

Obama is not new to the social media party with him joining Twitter back in May. However, it would be interesting to see how Mr. President interacts with his myriad followers on Facebook.
