GC: Not Shankar’s First Disaster with Mega

Shankar’s Game Changer has completely crashed at the box office and is now considered a huge disaster. While it may not be on the same scale as the flops of Acharya or Bholaa Shankar, Game Changer is a film that Ram Charan would likely want to forget quickly.

The collaboration between a visionary director like Shankar and a top hero like Ram Charan initially generated a lot of excitement, but the results have been quite shocking, especially for Mega fans.

However, this is not the first time a Shankar film has resulted in a disaster for the Mega family.

In 1994, Chiranjeevi starred in a film called The Gentleman, produced by Allu Aravind and directed by Bollywood’s top director Mahesh Bhatt. It was Chiranjeevi’s third attempt at a pan-India film after Pratibandh and Aaj Ka Gundaraaj.

The Gentleman was an official remake of Shankar’s debut film Gentleman, which had been a sensational hit in both Tamil and Telugu. However, Chiranjeevi’s Hindi remake of the film turned out to be a huge disaster. In Hyderabad, the film couldn’t even manage a 4-week run.

So, it seems that Shankar has had a bit of bad luck with the Mega heroes, and Game Changer has once again proven this. Fans now feel that it may be better for the Mega heroes to stay away from Shankar in the future.
