Bellamkonda’s Maiden Project Shelved or Delayed?

While Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is going to make his Bollywood debut with the remake of Rajamouli’s ‘Chatapati’, his younger brother Ganesh was going to make his Tollywood debut with a love story being directed by Pawan Sadineni of ‘Prema Ishq Kaadal’ fame.

However, things weren’t smooth for his maiden venture as COVID pandemic played the spoilsport. Amidst the delayed schedules due to visa issues in the USA, there have been rumours circulating that the film was shelved, altogether.

The main reason behind the rumour is the US schedule as the makers of the movie have to shoot for some important scenes in the US as it forms an important part of the narrative. The film’s unit members didn’t get visas not only because of COVID but also the recent elections.

The director clarified that their movie is only delayed but not shelved. Meanwhile, Pawan Sadineni has completed a web series, the Telugu adaptation of ‘Permanent Roommates’ as ‘Commit Mental’ for an OTT platform, Aha.
