Bengal Tiger and Loafer – float on the same boat

Two films released in two back to back weeks have literally met with same fate at the box office. The films are Bengal Tiger and Loafer and both are going to float in the same flop boat.

Bengal Tiger starring Ravi Teja had decent opening weekend but post that it saw a sharp decline in collections. And once Loafer arrived in the scene a week later the drop was even bigger making the film a loss venture in almost all the areas. It is almost like repeat of the box office performance of Power, another movie starring Ravi Teja.

Loafer on the other hand was slow to begin with. It had the biggest opening among Varun Tej films but the pickup expected after such an opening was not seen. It had a below par opening weekend things don’t look that positive for the rest of the run with multiple films arriving next week.
