Sharwanand’s Bhogi has generated interest among audiences with its focus on rural life and emotions. Director Sampath Nandi has attempted to portray Telangana culture and family relationships on screen. Produced by KK Radhamohan, the movie’s songs have received attention through their themes and presentation.
The makers are exploring the story of a rural village situated on the Telangana-Maharashtra border in the 1960s. They have brought in international technicians to work on the action sequences. As part of the film’s promotions, the makers have released two songs, Egili Varanga and Annayya Paanam.
Egili Varanga has crossed 5 million views within a few days, while Annayya Paanam has crossed 3 million views in a shorter period. Both songs portray the emotions of rural people from the 1960s, along with their festive traditions and lifestyle. Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose has written lyrics that reflect these emotions and cultural elements.
Chandrabose has spoken about the significance of this opportunity and his involvement in the project. Sharwanand portrays a devoted brother and a rural villager, adopting a different appearance and body language for the character. His role and transformation have been featured in the film’s promotional material.
Sampath Nandi’s approach to storytelling and visual presentation is reflected in the songs and promotional material released so far. Combining action with family emotions and rural traditions, Bhogi is scheduled for a theatrical release on November 11.
