This was announced by Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas a short while ago. Amitabh Bachchan is expected to act in various health and medical related awareness campaigns run by the state government. Government also feels that Amitabh’s endorsement will improve the investments in to the segment which will improve the availability of various medical facilities in the state.
Amitabh Bachchan is also endorsing the Tourism department of Gujarat state. The ‘Khushboo Gujarat Ki’ campaign by Amitabh Bachchan has increased tourism in Gujarat by 4 per cent per annum, twice that of national growth rate.
