The remake of Zanzeer is very much in talks right now. In this regard, actor Ram Charan answered quite a few questions related to the film. When the question was raised about the song of Zanzeer where Ram Charan is seen grooving with Priyanka Chopra and how it goes against the Angry young Man image raised by Amitabh in the original didn’t even smile and dance, Ram Charan said that the song titled The Mumbai Hero song is not set during the course of the film but is instead a promotional video that will appear during the end credits of the film. Charan explained that they have tried to keep the character as close as possible to the original but the audience will also see his softer romantic side when Mala comes into his life.

Indeed, the way Ram Charan talks about the characters of the film and how they are portrayed, the new Zanzeer seems to be tribute to the Amitabh Bachchan’s version of Zanzeer.
