After Azhar its Sania Mirza’s turn to celluloid

Biopic on the lives of sport personalities is fast becoming a major trend in Bollywood. And who could be blamed for this after all films like Mary Kom, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Paan Singh Tomar etc have been both critical as well as commercial success.

Thanks to the amazing response the audience have been giving for them the makers are coming out with more films in this genre. Currently a film is being made on former Indian captain and tainted cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin and now one hears of a film being made on Tennis sensation Sania Mirza.

This new film will apparently be helmed by director Farah Khan. She has in her decade old career as director not made any film remotely similar to this. Masala movie making has been her forte. One therefore shudders to think how she would be able to pull off a demanding film like this.
