By-election fight becomes one sided!

BJP will be contesting the upcoming by-election of Warangal Loksabha segment and TDP will be extending its support. The seat fell vacant after sitting TRS member, Kadiyam Srihari resigned to become the deputy Chief Minister of the state. BJP contested this seat in the last elections.

Normally they are also claiming chance for the by-election too. However TDP tried to get this seat from BJP as it has strong cadre there and will be able to put up strong contest to the ruling party. TDP supported BJP in all the elections that happened after 2014. So wanted to attend the fray this time.

However the saffron party is adamant about the contest and refused to leave out the seat. Finally it was decided that BJP will be contesting in a meeting between Kishan Reddy, Errabelli and L.Ramana a while ago. With BJP contesting this seat, the contest now will be only between TRS and Congress.
