Blockbuster Team in City for Special Show

One small movie that took the nation by storm by the sheer magnanimity of the collections it recorded but made with a shoe string budget is Marathi movie ‘Sairat’. Major portions of the movie were shot in Hyderabad.

This film is going to be remade in Telugu by the same Marathi director Nagraj Manjule who directed the blockbuster Marathi movie. Team ‘Sairat’ came to Hyderabad on Sunday for a special screening of the film and pretty excited and became nostalgic on having worked in Hyderabad. They team were also felicitated in Ravindra Bharathi on Sunday evening.

Interestingly, as the eloped lead pair in ‘Sairat’ come to Hyderbad as per the story of the movie, there a few Telugu dialogues also. The heroine of the film Rinku Rajguru seemed pretty elated to be back in Hyderabad, though not for shooting. Director Nagraj confirmed the Telugu remake.
