Blockbuster Original Leaked Ahead of Telugu Remake

The Tamil movie Vikram Vedha that retold the classic tales of Vikram and Bethal was a big hit among the audience although its sale was affected by online piracy. Now it appears that there are talks to remake the film in Telugu with a good cast to play the lead roles played by Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the original.

While the film’s leak may affect the sales of its original Tamil version, it may likely be boosting the sales of its Telugu counterpart. Since, the film is already leaked, several Telugu folks have started watching the film with English subtitles and are now excited to see the Telugu version.

The raised expectations, however, creates the challenge to have a good cast for the film who live up to the performance of the original Tamil cast especially the role played by Vijay Sethupathi. The latest news is that Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh have been approached for the Telugu remake although nothing has been finalized yet!
