BMS Interests: Which Sankranthi Film Is 1st?

This Sankranthi, there are multiple new theatrical debuts with the leading one being Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s Guntur Kaaram. But this film is not the one that is leading the Book My Show interests race.

As of now, HanuMan has the highest number of interests on Book My Show for Sankranthi releases. It has 169.5K interests on the online ticketing platform.

Guntur Kaaram is trailing by a slight margin with 168.7K interests. The very fact that a superstar film like Guntur Kaaram is trailing behind HanuMan is catching the attention on social media now.

Saindhav has 63K interests while Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga has 41K interests. Ravi Teja’s Eagle is last on the list as it has 18.2K interests.

These interests don’t necessarily indicate the scale of the box office openings of the film because Guntur Kaaram will ultimately post bigger office openings than all other Sankranthi films’ combined openings tally.

But it is interesting to see HanuMan which marks the collaboration of youngsters Prasanth Varma and Teja Sajja standing ahead of all the Sankranthi releases.
