Watch: Major Accident on Shankar’s Indian 2 Sets

Reports are emerging that a crane carrying some lighting equipment came down crashing on the shooting location of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2. The crane fell on the tent where Shankar and his assistants were monitoring the output. Even though these are early reports, sources say that at least two Assistant Directors have been killed in his mishap.

Another source say Director Shankar is grievously Injured and one of his legs got fractured. Ten others are said to be seriously injured. As we said earlier these are early reports and are yet to be confirmed. The movie shooting is happening at EVP, Chennai when this happened. The team is likely to make an official statement very soon.

Both Kamal Haasan and Kajal Agarwal are said to be on the location when this mishap happened but they are said to be safe. Kamal is ensuring that the casualities are being shifted to the local hospital. As the incident happened in a studio in the outskirts of Chennai and that too at night, the complete details are yet to emerge.
