C/o Kancharapalem Director’s Next

Once in a while, we get to watch a gem of a film like ‘C/o Kancharapalem’, the film that got noticed first at NewYork Individual Film Festival 2018 and it was Rana and Suresh Babu who took the initiative to present the movie and give it the platform to watch it on the big screen. Otherwise, the movie would have been fallen into the slumbers.

The film is a big success among the critics and the man behind the movie, filmmaker Venkatesh Maha who delivered a rare experience is being lauded for extracting realistic performances from non-actors who acted in this movie. It’s raining praises for his filmmaking for his genuine style. Naturally, there is a lot of interest in the director’s next who seem to belong to a different school of thought.

In a recent interview, the director said that he has 3-4 scripts, rather ideas that he would like to develop. He would take the call keeping in mind what would be befitting for him to take up as his next movie. Venkatesh Maha wants to join NewYork Film School and take a short-term course. Hope, he will stick to the genuine filmmaking and comes back soon with another interesting project that will make Telugus proud of him.
